It would be such a sweet thing to me to get a prescription for marijuana after so many years arguing with everyone from my mom to my judges and probation officers that I needed it. Ganja is my “mentalcation” and it eases the stress and pains of everyday life for me. We are looking for 700 people around the state that can commit to 40 volunteer hours over the next 6 months. They are known as the PUFMM Elite and will get special privilages throughout the campaign. These people will collect 1,000 signatures each and $420 in donations before February 1, 2010. This will provide us with exactly what we need to get medical marijuana on the 2010 ballot. It’s a straight forward no bullshit assessment of our current economic condition and a viable solution to California’s budget crisis. Or, more fully, to decriminalize pot, and then spread respectable pot shops and vending machines and dispensaries far and wide, instill quality control and decent oversight and then tax the living hell out of the glorious, stress-reducing goodness, as we stop wasting billions fighting its grand ubiquity and instead sink into profitable pools of warm, hazy progress?
