Our First Family Garden

I finally got a small garden tilled with our new garden tiller for $150 found at http://www.ocala4sale.com. I love that site. Lots of great stuff. I ran 4 foot by 1 inch chicken wire around it to keep rabbits out. i buried it about a foot deep all the way around and laid the wire at at a 90 degree turn at the bottom of a trench as wide as my spade the entire length. I seriuosly doubt anything will get in underneath. Its still almost 3 feet tall in most places and i just step over to get in. The dogs have stayed clear so thats good. I have also built a pretty nice 8 x 8 x 8 turkey pen complete with 4x 6 covered roost/nest box and additional 8 x 8 sun area on the east side. I bought a pair of natural bronze turkeys mated which we named Tom and Tina. Two ugly bitches. I also picked up 4 more younger turkey poults to be raised for this coming Turkey Day Fiesta. Steven has claimed he will kill and clean the turkey but that remains to be seen.
